Travel & Selling Tips / Four fun things you can’t miss in the Riviera Nayarit
Enjoy your time in paradise to the max!
The Riviera Nayarit offers a range of tours and activities for the entire family. Today we want to chat about a few of them, including water sports, outdoor fun, eco-tours, and extreme activities. Read on and enjoy your time in paradise to the max!
Surfing Lessons
The Riviera Nayarit is famous around the world for its gorgeous beaches perfect for surfing. You’ll find surf schools ready and waiting to teach you how to ride the waves and create unforgettable memories of your first time. The instructors can work with any level of expertise, so don’t worry: if you’ve never gotten on a board, we know you’re going to have a great time! We recommend this activity for the entire family, especially for kids older than five or six years of age who know how to swim. You’ll find surf schools in Sayulita, Bucerías, La Cruz, Punta de Mita, and San Pancho.
Hiking
We’re pretty sure this is the favorite new activity by far in the Riviera Nayarit (at least, we think it is!) There are several trails you can hike in the region. The best part, though, is that not only do you get a good workout, but you’ll also enjoy spectacular views and hidden beaches. We recommend asking about the Cerro del Mono (Monkey Mountain), the Mirador del Toro (a lookout), and Map Paso. Hiking is another pastime recommended for the entire family. There are several tour operators in Punta de Mita, Sayulita, and San Pancho offering hiking tours.
Paddle Lessons
If you like the action but you’re not exactly ready for surfing, then you’re going to love paddling. The beaches at Sayulita, San Pancho, Destiladeras, La Cruz, and Punta de Mita are the calmest and the prettiest—great for beginners or to perfect your technique. You can even combine a paddle class with Yoga.
Zip-Lining
Zip-lining is a classic that never goes out of style. There’s something about flying through the jungle that elevates the adrenaline like nothing else. Ask about this activity that’s great for the entire family—it’s super fun, and you can even top it off with a yummy breakfast out in the fresh air.
