CDC testing requirements for return to the U.S.

AMR™ Collection would like to provide you with important updates to testing and quarantine requirements as recently communicated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

CDC Testing Requirements for Return to the U.S.

A COVID-19 viral test is required no more than one day before you travel by air (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) into the United States from an international destination. Travelers must show a negative test result to the airline before boarding a flight. People who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19. Documentation of recovery includes a positive viral test during the past 90 days AND a signed letter from a healthcare provider or a public health official that states you have been cleared for travel. You will also be required to confirm that the information you present is true in the form of an attestation. These requirements do not apply to children under 2 years of age.

Additional Testing Requirements

Please note that some international destinations may require COVID-19 viral tests prior to arrival in that destination. Travelers are reminded to confirm COVID-19 policies specific to their destination before traveling. Additionally, U.S. states, workplaces and schools may have separate guidelines related to return from international travel, and individuals are reminded to understand and comply with specific requirements as applicable.

CDC Quarantine Guidelines

If you test positive, the CDC recommends you quarantine for at least five days after your positive test or later if you are still experiencing symptoms. However, please be aware that local jurisdictions, destinations and resorts may have their own requirements, which must be followed when in-country.

CleanComplete+ Quarantine Policies

AMR™ Collection resorts offer COVID-19 testing for guests in a standard room category for a fee. Guests staying in a Preferred Club or xhale club room category for three or more nights in all destinations receive their COVID-19 antigen tests at no charge. Additionally, guests staying at a Zoëtry® Wellness & Spa Resort for three nights or longer will receive their antigen test at no charge. Please refer to test pricing for all properties here as they are subject to change.

Should a guest test positive, AMR™ Collection resorts are pleased to offer quarantine support. If a guest receives a positive test while on property that prevents departure, the cost of quarantine at the property will be covered for up to 14 days after the original departure date. Extended stay due to quarantine includes the guest plus one travel companion sharing the same room. For additional traveling companions sharing the same room beside the affected guest and one travel companion, the resort is pleased to provide the discounted rates below:
