October 7 - The security, well-being and safety of AMResorts guests is always, and remains the highest priority in all emergency situations. They continue to monitor hurricane Delta, and their inclement weather policy remains in place for guests unable to arrive or depart.

Due to the trajectory of Hurricane Delta, an evacuation procedure has been mandated by the local authorities. Evacuations began on October 6 at 3 p.m. CST. Prior to evacuation, guests will be asked to bring with them only essential items such as their passport, medications, and any important documents they think they may need. Luggage and all other personal items will be required to remain on-site at the resort. All guests will be provided with a Covid-19 preventative supply kit, which will include a protective face mask and sanitizing hand gel. All guests will also have access to a doctor on site, whether at a shelter or at the resort. Additional face masks will be available for all guests who are relocated to a shelter.

 

Guests will be transported from their current resort location to the following respective shelters located within the Cancun/Riviera Maya area:

 

 

A task force will remain on site at each resort, immediately following the hurricane the task force will evaluate the impact to each property. Guests will be transported back to their respective resort as quickly as possible when it is deemed safe. Each property will provide transportation to and from shelter facilities.
