Safety and evacuation updates from AMResorts

Update October 27

AMResorts is happy to report that Hurricane Zeta has passed the Cancun region and their properties have been minimally impacted. All resorts remain open, and both Cancun International Airport and Cozumel International Airport are operating as normal. AMResorts encourages partners to check the status of individual flights or subsequent transfers to the clients’ final destination.

All guests currently on property have returned to their rooms, and all CleanComplete Verification™ guidelines remain in place. Additionally, AMResorts dedicated resort teams are working hard to clean minor debris from public areas on property to ensure the highest luxury experience you and the mutual clients have come to know and expect.

 

 


Update October 26

AMResorts continues to monitor Hurricane Zeta, and their inclement weather policy remains in place for guests unable to arrive or depart.

 

Hurricane Zeta is expected to become a category 1 hurricane prior to making landfall in the Cozumel and Yucatan Peninsula regions. Both Cancun and Cozumel International Airports remain operating at this time; however, AMResorts encourages partners to check the status of individual flights or subsequent transfers to the clients’ final destination.

 

At this time, no evacuation mandates have been issued, and all resorts remain open and operational. As a precautionary measure, resort staff teams will be temporarily moving guests into the meeting room facilities in each resort. Zoëtry® Paraiso de la Bonita guests will be sheltered in meeting rooms at Dreams® Natura Resort & Spa. This will take place this evening, by 9:00 p.m. local time.

 

AMResorts will continue to adhere to our CleanComplete Verification™ protocols during this time by taking temperatures to everyone arriving to the meeting room additionally hand sanitizing gels and masks will be provided to all guests.

 

Guests on property received two standard letters to their guest rooms yesterday, and a third letter today detailing the storm and evacuating procedures.
