Avianca expands its Canadian presence with four weekly flights connecting Montréal and Bogota
Avianca will operate four flights per week between Montréal and Bogota, the capital of Colombia, starting March 31.
The flights will be operated using A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers each, offering a total of 1,200 seats per week.
In December 2021, Avianca announced its arrival in Canada with the inauguration of routes from Bogota and San Salvador to Toronto. To date, the airline has flown some 350,000 passengers on more than 2,800 flights between Canada and Colombia.
Starting March 31, Avianca will land for the first time at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, kicking off the carrier’s next Bogota route.
From Montreal, flight AV201 will depart at 11:25 p.m., arriving in Bogota at 4:39 a.m. On the return, flight AV200 will depart Bogota at 2:20 p.m., arriving in Montreal at 10:05 p.m. Flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
