Bahia Principe officially launched its new Bahia Principe Rewards program in Toronto to an audience filled with travel agents, media and Transat representatives. Transat also received an award from Bahia Principe as an appreciation for their continuous support.

Travel agents enrolled in the loyalty program will have the opportunity to select from a variety of rewards and experiences. These include free stays at any of Bahia Principe’s properties, spa treatments, golf, entries for destination parties and transportation and excursion vouchers throughout 2017. Plus, registered agents will receive special travel rates and discounts at all Bahia Principe properties in Mexico, Jamaica and the D.R.

“We’ve like to get as many travel agents to experience Bahia Principe for themselves,” said Sal Buccellato, National Accounts Director for Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts. “This is finally an opportunity for them to earn points that they can redeem towards a free stay at any one of our Bahia Principe hotels.”

Just for registering, agents will receive 250 points as a welcome to the program. Afterwards, 100 points will be rewarded for each room night booked at a Grand Bahia Principe Hotel and 125 points awarded for each room night booked at a Luxury Bahia Principe Hotel.

“They experience the hotels, when they come back and a client asks for it, it’s the confidence that they have in selling the Bahia Principe product,” said Buccellato. “Once you’ve experienced it, you’ll see everything the resorts has to offer. It makes it that much easier for an agent to sell it to the consumer.”
