News / Caribbean Airlines adds two special flights from YYZ to Antigua
“More Canadians than ever are choosing Antigua and Barbuda as their go-to summer destination, and this expanded service by Caribbean Airlines directly reflects that momentum”

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has announced the addition of two special nonstop flights with Caribbean Airlines between Toronto and Antigua and Barbuda this summer.
The move comes in response to strong demand last summer and a surge of interest in this year’s Antigua Carnival and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 cricket matches.
This year’s Antigua Carnival will take place July 25 – August 5. In August, the island will also host matches for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 Cricket at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
“More Canadians than ever are choosing Antigua and Barbuda as their go-to summer destination, and this expanded service by Caribbean Airlines directly reflects that momentum,” said Tameka Wharton, Director of Tourism, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. “Given the strong interest we’ve seen from the Canadian market, these flights offer more convenient access for travellers looking to experience the key summer events in Antigua and Barbuda.”
The flights will operate on the following dates …
- Departure from Toronto July 31, with return August 6
- Departure from Toronto August 16, with return August 23
These special flights offer Canadian revellers and cricket fans timely and direct access to the twin-island nation, complementing the existing weekly service from Air Canada and WestJet on Sundays.
