Emerald Cruises
Emerald Cruises is positioning itself as a leader in the boutique cruise market

Emerald Cruises has launched its largest deployment to date with the release of its 2027–2028 yacht cruise collection.

With 170 departures across four luxury yachts, visiting more than 200 ports in 70 countries, the program reflects growing demand for small-ship travel focused on immersive, off-the-beaten-path experiences.

The new season includes 25 all-new itineraries and marks the debut of Emerald Raiya in the Mediterranean, alongside a return to Central America after a successful 2024 season. New features include additional overnight stays, late-night departures and expanded access to lesser-visited ports across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean and Central America.

Emerald Cruises’ full 2027–2028 yacht cruise collection is now available to book. Fleet highlights for the 2027-2028 season include:

  • Emerald Raiya begins its inaugural season on April 8, 2027, with a 10-night voyage from Valletta to Athens. The summer will be spent in the Eastern Mediterranean, with new itineraries that spotlight gems like Lesvos Island, Katakolo, Delos and Kepez. In winter, the ship will head south for its Red Sea and East Africa deployment, during which guests can explore Mahe, Mombasa or Al Disah Canyon.
  • Emerald Azzurra will operate spring and summer 2027 sailings through the Adriatic and Eastern Mediterranean, including a daylight passage through the narrow Corinth Canal and rare access into Venice via St. Mark’s Square. In winter, Azzurra will return to the Caribbean and Central America, with voyages sailing between Barbados, Costa Rica and Panama and featuring calls in Bocas del Toro, Quepos and the Panama Canal.
  • Emerald Sakara is set to explore the Western Mediterranean in 2027, calling on Bonfiacio, Porto Cervo, Saint-Tropez, Amalfi Coast and Nice. A new itinerary through Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily includes lesser-known ports like Arbatax and Pantelleria Island, both rarely visited by larger cruise ships. In winter, Sakara will sail the Caribbean between Sint Maarten, Barbados and the British Virgin Islands, with stops in Gustavia, Charlestown (Nevis) and Iles des Saintes.
  • Emerald Kaia opens its 2027 season in Athens with a mix of 7-night sailings between Venice and Dubrovnik, as well as select 9- and 12-night itineraries between Dubrovnik and Civitavecchia (Rome). For winter 2027-2028, Kaia heads to the Caribbean with new one-way itineraries from San Juan and Antigua, as well as a call in Miami. Island stops include Vieques, Montserrat and Saint John.
  • Emerald Xara, the fifth yacht in the fleet, is scheduled to launch in 2028, with more details to be announced in a future release.
