Exodus RCGS Quests push travellers to discover, learn, and explore, accompanied by world-renowned explorers, authors, photographers and conservationists

Adventure tour company Exodus Travels has announced its 2023 line-up of Exodus RCGS Quests, a series of expert-led itineraries developed in partnership with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) and Canadian Geographic Travel.

Exodus RCGS Quests push travellers to discover, learn, and explore, accompanied by world-renowned explorers, authors, photographers and conservationists.

The 2023 departures include trips with noted explorers, including Angry Planet’s George Kourounis, cave diver and William Beebe Award recipient Jill Heinerth, and conservationist, author, and photographer, Marlis Butcher, among others.

Exodus says the limited edition, small group trips will answer the call of any wild and adventurous spirits looking for opportunities to challenge themselves and expand their perspectives. A portion of every Exodus RCGS Quest will be used to support RCGS fellowship grants.

From Bolivia’s expansive landscapes and Annapurna’s sky-grazing mountainscapes, to Peru’s Colca Canyon, Egypt’s ancient temples, and Italy’s classic Dolomites, Exodus RCGS Quests are designed to satisfy the innately curious and intrepid traveler, says Robin Brooks, Exodus’ Marketing Director and RCGS Fellow.

We’re honoured to once again be partnering with The Royal Canadian Geographical Society,” says Brooks. “Following the massive success of our inaugural year of Exodus RCGS Quests, and continued demand to explore further and experience more, we’re thrilled to be able to once again provide this unique opportunity to journey through a destination from the perspective of an accomplished adventurer.

John Geiger, CEO of the RCGS, adds: “Further understanding of people and places, cultural heritage, and the natural environment is what contributes to the strength of the global travel community. As a non-profit organization dedicated to research and education, the Royal Canadian Geographical Society is very proud to be once again partnering with Exodus Travels, to have the opportunity to share our expertise, experience, and curiosity with travellers.
