Launches four new itineraries to China

On The Go Tours has launched four exciting China tours that take explorers to the country’s iconic destinations and beyond, allowing them to discover an array of alluring places.

Ranging from eight to 12 days, the newly curated itineraries are great for travellers who are looking to visit the lesser known parts of Southern China or experience the cities of Beijing and Shanghai on the roads less travelled. From visiting the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to taking a bicycle ride on top of the nine mile Xi’an City Wall and walking over the famous Great Wall, the new itineraries are designed to appeal to all types of explorers.

Southern China Explorer

The 12 day Southern China Explorer tour takes travellers off the beaten track and showcases the highlights of China’s scenic south. The tour continues with a visit to the UNESCO-listed sacred mountain, Mt Emei, and then a hike to Baisha and Wenhai villages in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Following a flight to Guilin, travellers will spend two days in Yangshuo where they can enjoy a rafting excursion on the scenic Yu Long River. Finally, the tour visits the rice terraces of the Dragon’s Backbone before concluding in Chengdu. The Southern China Explorer tour starts from $4,195 per person.

South China Discovery

At the beginning and end of the tour, travellers can independently explore China’s biggest and most prosperous city including Shanghai's Bund – a waterfront area, the Old City, and the iconic Oriental Pearl TV tower from where spectacular views can be admired. The South China Discovery tour starts from $5,530 per person.
