The Gulf Coast's first beachfront Hyatt Place hotel is now open in Panama City Beach, bringing contemporary design and thoughtful service to the heart of the Florida Panhandle. Hyatt Place Panama City Beach/Beachfront provides an ideal location along one of the top beaches in the United States and one of the 10 most Instagrammed beaches in the world.

The 11-story hotel tower is developed and managed by OTO Development, part of The Johnson Group. Project partners include architect and design firm Bullock Tice Associates; interior designer P3 Design Collective; and general contractor Robins & Morton.

The arrival experience at Hyatt Place Panama City Beach/Beachfront is uniquely appealing, with a porte cochère that offers guests a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico from the hotel's front door. Aesthetics are airy, light and energizing, with sweeping curtain windows and bold, ge ometric accents adding interest to the stucco façade.

With 224 thoughtfully designed guestrooms and suites — some with bunk beds to better accommodate young families — Hyatt Place Panama City Beach/Beachfront provides dedicated spaces to work, sleep and play to allow for a seamless transition from work to relaxation.

A swimming pool complete with a lazy river, hot tub and private cabanas are among the many elevated amenities guests can enjoy. The hotel offers conveniences including complimentary breakfast, a Cozy Corner sectional sleeper sofa, spacious desk and mini-fridge in every room, a 24/7 market and a well-equipped, waterfront fitness center allowing guests to get the most out of their stay. Gatherings of all kinds can be accommodated in the hotel's 1,316 square feet of flexible waterfront meeting and event space, which extends onto a covered balcony overlooking the Gulf.

Hyatt Place Panama City Beach/Beachfront is the third location to feature Coconut Charlie's, OTO's proprietary beach restaurant concept serving coastal-American dishes and handcrafted cocktails, with bar seating both inside and out.
