Lynx Air
Lynx Air is celebrating yet another milestone

Following its launch less than one month ago, Lynx Air is celebrating yet another milestone: the launch of service to Kelowna, B.C.

Canada’s new ultra-low-cost carrier, which took to the skies for the first time just over three weeks ago, held an official ribbon cutting ceremony on May 2 to commemorate its new Kelowna flights. It currently operates two flights a week from the West Coast city to both Calgary and Vancouver.

As of June 29, Lynx will increase its Kelowna-Calgary service to three flights per week, taking its total flights in and out of Kelowna to 10 flights and 1,890 seats per week. Fares start at $39 to and from Kelowna.

We are proud to be the airline that links Canadians to wonderful destinations like Kelowna,” said Merren McArthur, CEO of Lynx. “Whether you are travelling to catch up with friends and family, or to experience the natural beauty of the Okanagan region, Lynx will ensure a great flying experience for an affordable price.”

Canadians can now book flights with Lynx to 10 destinations across the country including Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, Halifax and St. John’s. The airline operates a fleet of brand new Boeing 737 aircraft and plans to add an additional 46 aircraft over the next 5-7 years.

To celebrate its growing presence in Kelowna, Lynx has launched a limited-time seat sale with base fares to and from the city priced at up to 50% off. The sale runs from May 2-4.
