The airline attributed the decision to international geopolitical instability and a decline in booking trends

Italian airline Neos has announced the suspension of all flights between Toronto and Amritsar, India, effective Oct. 8, 2025.
The airline cited international geopolitical instability and resulting decline in booking trends as the main reasons behind the move.
“With load factors unfortunately insufficient to ensure operational sustainability, we are forced to suspend all flights between Amritsar and Toronto as of Oct. 8, 2025,” said Neos in a letter to passengers on its website.
Passengers who booked directly through neosair.com will receive an email with refund instructions. Those who booked through a travel agency are being advised to contact their travel advisor directly.
For travel agencies, Neos has issued the following travel advisory policy:
- MARKETS: YYZ–ATQ; ATQ–YYZ; ATQ–JFK; JFK–ATQ; YYZ–TLV; TLV–YYZ; MXP–YYZ; YYZ–MXP
- TICKET STOCK: 703
- TICKET ISSUE: All tickets issued on/before Sept. 23, 2025
- ORIGINAL TRAVEL DATES: Between Oct. 8, 2025, and April 30, 2026
- REBOOKING WINDOW: Up to and including Oct. 4, 2025
Bookings on the following routes will be automatically re-protected on the nearest available flight and will adhere to the standard ticketing policy:
- MXP–ATQ and ATQ–MXP
- FCO–ATQ and ATQ–FCO
Re-protection guidelines are as follows:

Travel agencies are to use ATQYYZCANXSEP25 when processing a ticket exchange or refund for GDS-issued tickets.
Neos advises that efforts should be made to rebook in the same RBD; if unavailable, a higher RBD may be selected. Changes in cabin class are not permitted.
Free rebooking is permitted on confirmed flights (subject to seat availability). If no seats are available, passengers are entitled to a full refund. In the event that only one segment of a roundtrip itinerary is affected, a full refund of the entire reservation is permitted.
