News / Philippine Airlines adds flights to Vancouver, Toronto and New York
The expanded schedule will roll out in November and December 2026 and include increased service on two Canadian routes

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is growing its North American footprint with additional flights to Vancouver, Toronto and New York, boosting capacity on three key long-haul routes beginning later this year.
The expanded schedule will roll out in November and December 2026 and includes increased service on two Canadian routes.
Effective Nov. 17, PAL will increase its Manila-Vancouver route from seven to 10 weekly flights. Service between Manila and Toronto will increase from three to four weekly flights beginning Dec. 5.
The airline is also boosting service between Manila and New York (JFK), increasing from three to four weekly flights effective Dec. 2, with a fifth weekly flight operating during the peak holiday travel period between December 2026 and January 2027.
According to PAL, the additional frequencies further strengthen its leadership in the Philippines-North America market while reinforcing its position as the Southeast Asian carrier operating the most nonstop flights between the region and North America.
“North America continues to be one of Philippine Airlines most important markets,” said Richard Nuttall, President of Philippine Airlines. “As travel demand grows, these additional flights strengthen our position as the preferred nonstop carrier between the Philippines and North America whilst providing our customers with greater choice, improved connectivity, and more opportunities to travel, do business and reconnect with family and loved ones.
“As the Philippine flag carrier, we remain committed to supporting tourism, trade and economic ties between the Philippines and our key North American markets.”
The additional flights will enhance connectivity through Manila to destinations across Southeast Asia, including Jakarta, Bali, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hanoi.
Through partnerships with WestJet, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, travellers will also have access to onward connections to numerous destinations across Canada and the United States.
The additional Toronto and New York services will initially be operated with the Airbus A350-900 before transitioning to the airline’s new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft as more of the type joins the fleet. The A350-1000 is also scheduled to begin serving San Francisco in August 2026, offering more premium seating and strengthening PAL’s competitiveness on the U.S. West Coast.
