News / Regent Seven Seas Cruises® celebrates record-breaking launch day for a brand-new ship
Seven Seas Prestige™ outperformed the previous record launch day for a new ship by 26%

Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading ultra luxury cruise line, enjoyed its biggest single booking day for the launch of a brand new ship when it opened reservations for Seven Seas Prestige™ on June 25, 2025.
Bookings exceeded Regent’s previous record new ship launch day when Seven Seas Splendor went on sale in 2018 by 26%. In addition, the Skyview Regent Suite - available at $25,000 per night – sold out on 6 of 13 available sailings in its inaugural season, which is the best performance of a top tier product the cruise line has ever experienced on an opening day.
Set for delivery in late 2026, Seven Seas Prestige begins a new legacy for Regent Seven Seas Cruises as the brand’s first new ship class in a decade. Built by Fincantieri, the 77,000-ton vessel is 40% larger than previous ships yet accommodates just 10% more guests—hosting 822 guests with 630 crew for exceptional space and service. All-balcony suites span 12 categories, including four new designs such as the two-level Skyview Suites and the 8,794 sq. ft Skyview Regent Suite – the largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruise ship suite in history. Guests will enjoy The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience®, with unlimited shore excursions, fine wines and spirits, valet laundry, Starlink WiFi, and cuisine across 7 specialty restaurants and 11 dining experiences in total, including new mezze-style Mediterranean concept, Azure. The ship’s inaugural season features 13 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe, visiting boutique ports like Cartagena, and St. Lucia, as well as multiple overnight stays in port.
Seven Seas Prestige™ – A new legacy begins
Set to be delivered in late 2026, Seven Seas Prestige follows the tremendous success of Regent’s Explorer-Class vessels, also built by Fincantieri, and will mark Regent’s first new ship class in 10 years.
At 77,000 tons and carrying just 822 guests with 630 dedicated crew members, Seven Seas Prestige offers one of the highest space-to-guest and crew-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry. With a crew-to-guest ratio of 1:1.31 and a ship that is 40% larger than previous Regent ships yet accommodates only 10% more guests, it delivers truly Unrivaled Space at Sea®.
The ship’s beautifully appointed all-balcony suites usher in a new era of ultra-luxury accommodation with 12 distinctive categories — including four all-new suite types: the largest all-inclusive, ultra luxury cruise ship suite in history: the Skyview Regent Suite; the striking two-level Skyview Suites with private terrace decks accessed via in-suite elevators; the contemporary Grand Loft Suites with soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows; and the Horizon Penthouse Suites featuring an expansive balcony designed for al fresco living.
These accommodations are complemented by elegant, thoughtfully designed public spaces and lounges — such as the Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar — as well as an array of dining options, including Azure, a new mezze-style Mediterranean concept, rounding out 7 specialty restaurants and 11 dining experiences in total.
The new features will further elevate The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience, which Regent is renowned for, with inclusions such as unlimited shore excursions in every port of call, gourmet cuisine in a range of specialty and al fresco dining venues, fine wines and spirits, onboard entertainment, Starlink WiFi access, valet laundry service, pre-paid gratuities, and a one-night pre-cruise hotel package for guests in Concierge-level suites and above.
Seven Seas Prestige’s inaugural season will explore iconic destinations across the Caribbean and Europe with 13 immersive voyages. Her maiden sailing departs December 13, 2026, on a festive 14-night transatlantic journey from Barcelona to Miami. From there, guests can discover the sun-soaked charm of the Eastern and Western Caribbean, and the marvels of the Panama Canal, with embarkation ports in Miami, Florida; Los Angeles, California; and New York. The season culminates with elegant sailings along the Iberian Peninsula and the coast of France, including multiple overnight stays. With up to 97 included shore excursions per voyage and calls to boutique ports such as St. Lucia, Cartagena, and Bordeaux, the season offers the perfect blend of vibrant exploration and all-inclusive indulgence.
