Several Marriott International Caribbean properties have announced renovations and updated programming this month to enhance the overall guest experience.
Enhancements will be made at properties in the Cayman Islands, Aruba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, including innovative food and beverage experiences and property renovations.
Cayman Islands
Grand Cayman Marriott Resort: The resort has embarked on an extensive renovation of rooms and suites, including repositioning its 15 junior suite by completely redesigning the space. New features include a partition to divide the bed and sitting areas for additional privacy, and custom bunk beds and more storage in four new family guestrooms.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman: The resort will be enhancing its premier sporting facilities in early 2024. Three additional pickleball courts will be added for a total of five in response to growing demand for this global trend. For tennis fans, three tennis courts featuring Titan Trax surface will also be unveiled.

Puerto Rico
San Juan Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino: In fall 2024, the resort will unveil new, modern guestrooms featuring new floors, walk-in showers and private balconies with chic seating. Public spaces like the Great Rooms, Stellaris Casino and Restaurants will also be updated.

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino: Mercát, a new Mediterranean restaurant, is now open at the resort, featuring a youthful and relaxed atmosphere and curated dishes with fresh ingredients and influences from Spain, Italy, Lebanon and Greece.

Dominican Republic
The Westin Punta Cana Resort & Club: The resort has revealed a major transformation complete with newly refreshed rooms, two new restaurants and bars (Brassa steakhouse and BAO for Pan-Asian cuisine), and a fully refreshed lobby. Plus, the new dock gazebo on the beach offers the perfect spot for weddings, photo sessions and special events.
