From April 12 to June 1, Park Hyatt Toronto welcomes spring’s arrival with a curated lineup of experiences and programming that blend art, culture, and the delicate flavours of Japan, highlighting the timeless essence of Sakura. Visitors and locals alike are invited to embrace the beauty of the season through curated offerings that provide a moment of tranquility and cultural appreciation at one of Toronto’s most historic hotels.

Seasonal Menus

Park Hyatt Toronto’s signature culinary offerings will embrace seasonal flavours of spring, with a Sakura Season Cocktail Menu, crafted in partnership with Suntory-Roku Gin. Highlights include a vibrant Japanese Matcha cocktail made with clarified cherry, Roku Gin, sake, cherry blossom, and Tonka bean, and a bold Toasted Black Sesame Manhattan. This limited-time menu offers a sensory journey that pays homage to traditional Japanese flavours and the fleeting beauty of Sakura.

Indulge in a Sakura Season Afternoon Tea, a celebration of Japanese flavours perfect for Mother’s Day and the arrival of spring. Developed in partnership with Park Hyatt Kyoto, this exquisite experience features a carefully curated 5-course tasting menu of sweets and savouries from Executive Chef Jonathan Williams, each bite an elegant nod to the season’s beauty, complemented by sommelier-selected teas from Sloane Tea. Reservations can be made for Saturday and Sunday from April 12 – June 1, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Joni. Starting at $94 per person. Reserve here.

Park Hyatt Toronto proudly partners with Aburi Hana, Yorkville’s Michelin-starred gem, for an exclusive chef collaboration dining event, the first of its kind at the property. Helmed by Executive Chef Ryusuke Nakagawa, Aburi Hana is renowned for its modern interpretation of Kyō-Kaiseki dining, originating from Kyoto. Guests will experience an exquisitely crafted menu that pays homage to Japan’s culinary heritage. This limited-time dining experience offers a rare opportunity to savour Nakagawa’s signature artistry in an intimate setting. June 1, 2025. Reserve your seat starting May 1, 2025.

Floral Design & Ikebana Workshops

Further enhancing the hotel’s ambiance, Park Hyatt Toronto transforms its spaces with seasonal floral installations, evoking the charm of cherry blossom-lined streets in Tokyo. Fresh cherry blossoms bloom in real-time through breathtaking installations by floral artist Gunnar. Inspired by the art of traditional Japanese Ikebana, the design captures the harmony, balance, and the fleeting beauty of Sakura in full bloom.

Park Hyatt Toronto offers guests the opportunity to participate in bookable Ikebana Workshops by Mitsu, celebrating the traditional art of Japanese floral arranging. Led by expert instructors, the immersive Mother’s Day workshop will guide participants in creating elegant, nature-inspired compositions. The hotel will host two workshops on May 11, 2025 at 1PM and 3PM. Reserve your spot at parkhyatttoronto.com or via @parkhyattto on Instagram starting April 18th.
