Swiss International Air Lines
The 2024 summer period will run from March 31 to October 26, 2024

SWISS is expanding its route network for summer 2024 with two new long-haul destinations, including one from Canada.

Nonstop services from Zurich will be introduced to both Toronto and Washington, DC next summer. In addition, the airline will be expanding its European route network with service to Košice, Slovakia and Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

The 2024 summer period will run from March 31 to October 26, 2024. Flights on the new routes are now open for booking.

The Toronto route, which will kick off on May 10, 2024, is provisionally planned for the summer schedules only, and will be provided daily (except Mondays and Wednesdays) using an Airbus A330. The new westbound SWISS service will depart from Zurich at 09:55 and arrive in Toronto at 13:00 (both times local). The corresponding eastbound service will leave Toronto at 16:35 and arrive in Zurich at 06:30 the following day.

SWISS will serve Washington, DC year round, with westbound service that will depart Zurich at 13:00 and arrive in Washington at 16:20, and eastbound service departing the U.S. capital at 20:45 and arriving in Zurich at 10:50 the following day. The first such service will operate on March 28, 2024, though with slightly different departure and arrival times as this date falls within the prior 2023/24 winter timetable period.

In Europe, SWISS will serve Košice 3x/weekly using advanced Airbus A220 aircraft. Cluj-Napoca will also run 3x/weekly with an Airbus A220.

In total, SWISS’s program of scheduled services from Zurich and Geneva in summer 2024 will extend to 113 destinations. Travellers from Zurich will be offered a choice of 67 European and 24 intercontinental destinations, while those from Geneva will be offered nonstop service to/from New York along with a choice of 43 short-haul destinations.
