East Africa Camps wants to keep you informed about news related to travel to Africa and the development of the pandemic in the different countries where the company organizes their safaris with total security.
The Kenyan government has recently implemented some measures against COVID-19 which do not affect international travel.
Here is the summary:
• International flights will not be affected • Domestic Flights will continue operating but strictly to International tourists booked via Travel agents / Tour Operators • Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF) is pushing for all tourist vehicles to be allowed to move in and out of the zoned areas with International tourists provided they follow ministry of Health protocols
Entry requirements:
All international travellers to Kenya are required to complete a ‘Travellers Health Surveillance’ form before arriving in the country. A confirmed flight seat number and confirmation of a negative PCR COVID test result is required to complete the form online. Travellers will receive a QR code, which must be shown to Port Health Officials in Arrivals. Also, all passengers are required to obtain their visa to entry Kenya online before travelling to the country.Travellers Health Surveillance Form
COVID-19 Test
All passengers on international flights to Kenya will be required to present a negative PCR test certificate done within 96 hours prior to arrival and enter the flight. We highly recommend ask your airline before travelling.
Quarantine
All travellers must have a body temperature below 37.5°C (99.5°F). They shall not have flu symptoms and persistent cough. Those who do not have symptoms and come from low to medium risk countries will be exempted from quarantine. We recommend consulting the access conditions of each country. Countries not listed in the Kenya Civil Aviation Authorities-issued will be required to quarantine upon arrival for 14 days.If you need more information about travelling to Kenya click here: kcaa.or.ke.
