Varadero, Cuba has been added to the list of sunny destinations to where Swoop flights can be booked with WestJet Vacations packages from Toronto.

Swoop and WestJet Vacations first announced in January 2022 that travel agents can now book Swoop flights as part of a WestJet Vacations package via SIREV/REVNET. The initial rollout of destinations included Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Los Cabos, Montego Bay and Punta Cana from all of Swoop’s Canadian gateways.

Swoop, an independent subsidiary of the WestJet Group of companies, first began offering flights to Varadero on January 11, 2023, becoming the first Canadian ULCC to offer flights to the sun-soaked destination. Flights to Varadero operates 3x/weekly from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

WestJet Vacations packages include roundtrip flights, airport ground transfers, accommodations and most resorts offer all-inclusive packages covering food, drinks, amenities and services. 

WestJet Vacations packages to Varadero via Swoop are available for booking year-round. Samples of all-inclusive beach vacations from Toronto to Varadero include:
