You don’t need to show up at a mall at 4 a.m. anymore to make the most of Black Friday. California hotels increasingly offer their Black Friday deals online, with specials often showing up before Thanksgiving and lasting through the following Cyber Monday, Travel Tuesday, and beyond. Consider these late-breaking deals and specials at California inns, hotels, and resorts:

30 percent off at Paséa Hotel & Spa, Huntington Beach

Discounts for ski resort passes

If you’re ready to book your California ski trip for the new year, look at the website of your favorite California ski resort for late-breaking deals: You can save $100, for instance, if you buy a pass for Big Bear Mountain, or pick up a two-day ticket for Mountain High for $199. In the Shasta Cascade, you can get 50 percent off a season pass at Mt. Shasta Ski Park.
