Hola Sun Holidays marks another successful start of the 2025/26 winter season! The company’s annual Product Launch took place last week, and we have lots to tell you!

Over 140 Travel Agents, delegates from the Cuba Tourist Board and industry partners gathered together to celebrate Hola Sun and the upcoming winter season! Participants were immersed in the Cuban culture with dancing performances and live bands.

And back to the star of the event, Hola Sun! Here’s what to expect in the upcoming season:

• The new 2025-2026 brochure is now available here and accessible on all devices: https://holasunholidays.ca/brochures 
   
• The primary carrier for the season will be Air Transat; however, the tour operator will also offer flights to Cayo Coco through Air Canada, as well as the new direct route from Toronto (YYZ) to Havana (HAV) operated by WestJet starting January 8, 2025 
   
• The tour operator continues to offer 1 checked bag and 1 carry-on free of charge across all carriers (Air Transat, WestJet and Air Canada) on all packages and flight reservations 
   
• Hola Sun reveals a new free added value program: Collection Plus. The programs offer more perks and benefits like late check-out, free room upgrades, adjacent rooms, complimentary massages and more! 
   
• Group perks are also available in the upcoming season, including competitive rates, exclusive transfers, travel souvenirs, and more! But benefits don’t end here, for reservations made until December 31, 2025, Hola Sun will DOUBLE your loyalty points, and you can also win one of several free vacation packages for summer 2026! An extra 2% commission is also available on all group bookings made by December 31, 2025 
   
• New hotels include Iberostar Selection La Habana, Gran Muthu Ensenada, and Sol Hicacos Varadero (a revamped property to open in November 2025, previously Hotel Turquesa) 
   
• Hola Sun offers affordable emergency health insurance (from 7 days to up to 6 months). Don’t forget that health insurance is mandatory for all travellers entering the country

During the event, Hola Sun said goodbye to one of the most influential figures in the Cuban tourism industry in Canada. It was time to bid farewell to Lessner Gomez, the former Director of the Cuba Tourist Board, who had spent over six years building strong connections between Canadian travellers, agents, and Cuba. 

Hugo Rocha, General Manager of Hola Sun, on behalf of the company, expressed his gratitude for the enthusiasm, dedication and hard work that Lessner has put into promoting Cuba as a destination. He says that Lessner has been a great supporter of Hola Sun throughout the years, and Hola Sun appreciates that.

Lessner conveyed his sincere thanks and deep affection for Hola Sun, noting that this was his first work event since arriving in YYZ in 2019. “I arrived in Toronto, and the very next day, I had the pleasure of attending the Hola Sun Product Launch. I met some incredible people, and Hola Sun has truly become like family to me. They are truly experts on Cuba and have played a significant role in driving the outstanding results we’ve seen throughout 2023, 2024, and 2025.” Now, Lessner Gomez is set to return to Cuba to continue his career in the tourism sector.

The celebration wrapped up on a high note as Hola Sun and its partner hotels surprised attending agents with an exciting prize distribution. Lucky winners walked away with complimentary stays at the top Cuban resorts and exclusive tour operator merchandise, generating enthusiastic energy throughout the room as names were called and prizes claimed.
