One Caribbean Canada
Discover a variety of events, including sailing regattas, music festivals, and more

One Caribbean Canada has launched its Caribbean Events Calendar, now available on its website, OneCaribbeanCanada.ca.

The new resource is offered in both English and French and highlights the diverse events taking place across the Caribbean throughout the year, from Carnivals to culinary festivals to sailing regattas to world-renowned musical events.

The listings are in chronological order, for ease of navigation.

One Caribbean Canada recently hosted a successful trade event, ‘The Caribbean Beats the January Blues,’ in Burlington, ON, featuring 11 Caribbean countries. The team collaborated with a Caribbean caterer, bringing the island flavours and cultural richness directly to the heart of the event.

Agent-Friendly and not a booking engine

With 21 Caribbean member countries, 32 hotels, and one airline – Caribbean Airlines – OneCaribbeanCanada.ca is a valuable resource for Canadians seeking detailed, up-to-date information about travel, events and culture in the Caribbean, said Drolet.

The Caribbean members are also committed to supporting travel advisors across Canada and offering valuable resources for advisors who want to help clients explore the region.

Drolet noted that OneCaribbeanCanada.ca is designed to be consumer-friendly while also offering full support for the travel advisor community.

She emphasized that the site is not a booking platform but rather a hub of information, providing users with everything they need to plan their next Caribbean getaway.

Coming up on the one year anniversary of its launch, OneCaribbeanCanada.ca has made significant strides in enhancing the travel experience for Canadians, added Drolet.

Along with the event calendar, the site now includes valuable info on how to get married in the Caribbean, health and medical resources (including locations of hyperbaric chambers for divers), and accessible travel options throughout the region. The website also features essential details for Canadians looking to explore island-hopping possibilities with a comprehensive list of public ferries.
