Costa Mujeres – the stretch of sandy white coastline in the northeast Yucatan Peninsula – is set to be Mexico’s newest gourmet destination with the opening of the 673-room Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa and the adults-only 473 room TRS Coral Hotel in November 2018.

The newest development by Palladium Hotel Group will offer flavors from around the world at the 14 restaurants at its two new five-star hotels in the Mexican resort. The curated selection of restaurants will take guests on a culinary journey from Spain to Thailand and Italy to India – plus local and regional Mexican cuisine. Set around “The Village” that links the two hotels, the restaurants are near along shops, bars and recreation areas.

 

Family-friendly Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort restaurants:

• Portofino (Italian) • Chang Thai (Thai) • Sumptuori (Japanese) • Boghali (Indian) will transport guests to faraway lands • La Adelita will offer authentic Mexican flavours with local and regional specialities • El Dorado is the resort’s à la carte steakhouse and Grand Palladium will feature international dishes

 

 

The Poseidon Beach Club at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa will offer refreshing cocktails and Mediterranean-style fare for lunch or dinner by the sea with views of Playa Mujeres.

 

 

TRS Coral Hotel restaurants:

• La Bohème, which will exude the feel of a Parisian bistro with classic French recipes such as steak tartare, French onion soup and foie gras, accompanied by a bottle of Champagne, Bourgogne or Bordeaux from its ample wine cellar • Diners will have a lesson in Spanish gastronomy and culture at Tapeo, where tapas and other traditional dishes will be found • Carnivores won’t want to miss El Gaucho; an Argentinean barbeque serving tender steaks and chimchurri, creole chorizo and empanadas, among other delicacies • Capricho will serve breakfast and lunch with à la carte dishes and show cooking alongside fresh fruit smoothies, coffee, or mimosas

 

 

Guests at the adults-only TRS Coral Hotel have exclusive access to 5 à la carte restaurants, as well as unlimited and preferential access to all facilities at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa, allowing them to take advantage of the exclusive “Dine Around” concept during their stay.

TRS Coral Hotel guests will have exclusive access to Helios Beach Club, which is inspired by the famous beach clubs of Ibiza with live music and DJ sets providing a rhythmic soundtrack as guests indulge in fish, seafood and seasonal cuisine.
