Visit Santa Barbara
The American Riviera beckons with beaches, dining, culture and more

Nestled between a majestic mountain range and the Pacific Ocean, and surrounded by wild, undeveloped coast, Santa Barbara is a self-contained paradise. The city is conveniently located 90 miles north of Los Angeles and 325 miles south of San Francisco. Santa Barbara Airport, jus 10 minutes from the city, is served by major carriers with direct flights from multiple domestic cities.

The City’s distinctive Spanish-style architecture, with red-tile roofs and white adobe buildings, and its lush, verdant landscape evoke the topography and aesthetic of the European Riviera, but with a carefree California spirit.

Simultaneously sophisticated and bohemian, easy-going and energetic, Santa Barbara offers exceptional arts and culture, relaxing resorts and hideaways, wellness experiences and outdoor adventures on land and at sea.

Add thriving, world-class wineries, a hyper-local culinary scene and welcoming locals, and there’s no denying that Santa Barbara has elevated living well to an art form.
