Tahiti Tourisme is thrilled to announce the 2024 Canada FAM trip! The destination invites you to apply for an exclusive opportunity to experience The Islands of Tahiti firsthand with your host Veronica Petcoff – Trade Lead for Tahiti Tourisme Canada! This incredible FAM offers the chance to explore the breathtaking islands, visit newly opened hotels, and connect with key representatives from Tahiti Tourisme in the destination.

As part of this unforgettable experience, you’ll attend the Tahiti Travel Exchange (TTE), a one-day conference that provides valuable destination and product training in collaboration with local tour operators and industry partners. TTE is the perfect platform to deepen your knowledge of The Islands of Tahiti, network with local industry partners, enjoy cultural experiences, and meet other key stakeholders.

FAM Itinerary Highlights:

• November 30: Depart Los Angeles (LAX) on a red-eye flight to Tahiti
• December 1: Arrive in Tahiti, transfer to Taha'a
  • Site visits to Raiatea Lodge and Vahine Island
• December 2: Full-day land and sea tour in Taha'a. Overnight in Taha’a
• December 3: Travel to Bora Bora, hotel site visits and overnight in Bora Bora
• December 4: Hotel visits and activities in Bora Bora, overnight in Bora Bora
• December 5: Travel to Moorea, overnight in Moorea
• December 6: Explore Moorea or Tahiti Iti
• December 7: Explore Tahiti Iti, participate in cultural activities
• December 8: Hotel visits and activities in Tahiti, overnight in Tahiti
• December 9: Attend Tahiti Travel Exchange at Hilton Tahiti
• December 10: Depart Tahiti in the evening for international travel

FAM Cost: $1,500.00 CAD

This fee includes:

• Direct flights to and from Papeete from LAX
• All accommodations at resorts and guesthouses
• Participation in TTE with full-day programming
• All group meals
• Activities and excursions as outlined
• Domestic transportation between island
• What is NOT included:
  • Roundtrip airfare to and from LAX 

How to Qualify:

Tahiti Tourisme is selecting agents based on the following criteria:

• Must be registered on the Tahiti Specialist Program
• Must complete the E-Learning Modules through the Tahiti Specialist Program
• A history of selling The Islands of Tahiti and/or interest in adding this destination to your portfolio for clients
• Currently booking similar destinations (Hawaii, Fiji, Maldives, Cook Islands)
• Client database is primarily Canadian travllers
• BONUS: Upload your past bookings to the Tahiti Specialist Program to increase your chances of being selected

PLEASE NOTE:

Participating Travel Advisors are responsible for the the payment, organization, and management of their flights to and from LAX. 

Participating Travel Advisors must attend the full day of programming at TTE on December 9, 2024, and complete participation in the proposed itinerary presented by TTCA. 

If participation is confirmed and then cancelled after November 15, 2024, cancellation fees will apply. Participation requires Travel Advisors to provide a complete application form, and confirmation that they have reached the minimum Entry Level in the Tahiti Specialist Program.

The deadline for initial participation requests is October 30, 2024.
