Excitingly, in just under two weeks the world will descend upon The Islands of Tahiti to gather at Teahupo’o, the epic and legendary wave where Olympic Surfing will take place.

What most travellers don’t know, is that French Polynesia is widely considered the birthplace of surfing – a history befitting a destination set to host the second-ever iteration of the sport at the Olympic Games.
