The Costa Rica Tourism Board wants Canadian travel advisors to experience the country’s ‘Pura Vida’ vibe in person with two FAM opportunities this September.

Represented in Canada by VoX International, Costa Rica will have two FAM trips taking place in September: one for English-speaking travel advisors and one for French-speaking travel advisors.

“For each trip, we’ll be selecting two groups of 10 advisors to experience Costa Rica,” says Gustavo Inciarte, Trade Account Manager, Costa Rica Tourism Board.

Roundtrip flights are included, and accommodation is in single occupancy rooms. There is a participation fee of US$350, with all other trip expenses (ie. in-destination transportation, meals and all scheduled activities) included.

Inciarte says the itineraries are still being finalized, “but each FAM will showcase at least two regions of Costa Rica.”

Costa Rica’s incredible biodiversity, natural beauty and warm hospitality have made the country one of the world’s most sought-after travel destinations, he added. Inciarte and the VoX International team welcomed scores of travel advisors during the recent multi-city ‘Energía Pura Vida’ Costa Rica Roadshow 2026.

Inciarte notes that submitting interest does not guarantee participation, as space is limited. Selected advisors will be notified after the application period closes.

The deadline to submit applications is Aug. 15 for the French-speaking FAM, and Sept. 10 for the English-speaking FAM.
