Costa Rica's Minister of Tourism, William Rodriguez Lopez, also attended the event with the following announcements: "This is a great opportunity for us to strengthen our partnership with the Canadian trade. We are currently collaborating with Canadian airlines to enhance the number of nonstop flights to Costa Rica and establish easier connections from various Canadian gateways."
