ACTA has unveiled new details about its upcoming fall summits in Toronto and Vancouver
ACTA has unveiled new details about its upcoming fall summits in Toronto and Vancouver.
In addition to a tradeshow, food and beverages and interactive experiences that allow suppliers to connect with travel advisors, the summits will also include a discussion panel and a number of breakout sessions.
The ACTA Eastern Canada Travel Industry Summit will take place on Sept. 12 in Etobicoke, ON. The ACTA Western Canada Travel Industry Summit will take place on Sept. 19 in Richmond, BC. And the ACTA Québec Travel Industry Summit is scheduled for Sept. 25 in Montreal.

Discussion Panel
Travel advisors will learn how to transform their career from good to extraordinary during the ‘Navigating Success: Strategies for Thriving Travel Advisors’ discussion panel. Topics include strategies on elevating their travel business, mastering the art of transparent service fees, enhancing client satisfaction, and the power of group travel.
The Toronto panel will be led by moderator Monica Johnstone, ACTA Chair, and include the following panelists: Judith Coates, Wired for Travel-TTAND; Naomi Rogers, Caledon Travel-Trevello; Joanne Patterson, Direct Travel; and Lynda Tomilin, Envoyage.
The Vancouver panel will be led by moderator Claire Banman, South East Travel, and include the following panelists: Darci Murray, Personal Travel Management; Monica Marchi, Expedia Cruises; Ashley Hanneman, Monarch Travel Pros; and Roxy Rae, Envoyage.
Educational Breakout Sessions
The following breakout sessions will be offered:

- Sailing Beyond Horizons: Navigating the Future of Cruise Travel

Breakfast Boardrooms
ACTA will also be offering Breakfast Boardrooms at both the Toronto and Vancouver summits. These intimate, educational sessions will take place one hour prior to the official opening of each summit, and will include a full breakfast and one hour of professional development in one breakfast session of an agent’s choice.
This year’s sessions will feature the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Globus family of brands, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, Myrtle Beach, Antigua & Barbuda, and Brand USA. These sessions are available to all ACTA member travel advisors on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited.
Formal registration for Breakfast Boardrooms will open in the weeks to come. Those who are registered to attend the ACTA summit will be notified as soon as registration is open for the breakfast board rooms.
