Air Canada Vacations has launched new interactive Groups Workshops aimed at helping travel advisors build confidence, strengthen their groups expertise and grow their business.

Developed with a certified trainer, the sessions feature practical exercises, live demonstrations and collaborative activities, with a focus on knowledge advisors can immediately apply to their groups business.

“Groups remain one of the most valuable growth opportunities for travel advisors, and we believe the education supporting them should reflect that,” said Elish Tait, ACV’s Manager, National Accounts.

Participants will also have the opportunity to earn recognition as an Air Canada Vacations Groups Specialist, a designation recognizing advanced knowledge of ACV’s groups business.

The workshops are designed for both new and experienced groups sellers and cover the Air Canada Vacations Groups journey, operational best practices, recent technology enhancements and strategies for identifying and converting groups opportunities.

“Forget sitting through hours of slides and presentations,” said Dianne Pedroso, National Groups Key Account Manager. “We’ve created a hands-on, collaborative experience that equips advisors with practical takeaways, greater confidence and renewed excitement for growing their groups business.”

Attendance will be limited to approximately 75 to 100 advisors per session.
