AMResorts properties have been minimally impacted

October 8 - AMResorts is happy to report that Hurricane Delta has passed the Cancun region and their properties have been minimally impacted. Resorts are reopening at this time and guests are returning. Additional updates forthcoming.

The security, well-being and safety of their guests is always, and remains the highest priority in all emergency situations. AMResorts is pleased to confirm that in accordance with their CleanComplete Verification™ (CCV) guidelines, guests who stayed in shelters received a personal care kit that included facemasks, hand sanitizing gel, disinfectant wipes, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower gel and shampoo.

At the shelter, AMResorts conducted a deep cleaning prior to guest arrival, and ongoing surface cleaning every 30 minutes. Disinfectant mats were placed at entryways, and hand sanitizing stations were placed throughout the shelters. Lastly, guests had access to both COVID-19 quick tests and a doctor in the case that symptoms arose.

AMResorts continues to monitor guest safety by taking body temperatures upon re-entry to each resort. Now that resorts are re-open, all CleanComplete Verification™ (CCV) guidelines remain in place.

For properties where guests sheltered in the resort, they were safely returned to their rooms this morning.

Company’s inclement weather policy remains in effect for guests unable to arrive or depart the destination.
