July 13 - AMResorts® would like to share an important update to COVID-19 testing procedures at Secrets® Papagayo Costa Rica and Dreams® Las Mareas Costa Rica.

 

Following the new government restrictions of 75% maximum occupancy in Costa Rica, AMResorts® branded properties have amended their antigen testing requirements for guests. Beginning July 15, all new bookings to both Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica and Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica will be offered the COVID-19 antigen tests at an added cost, with the exception of guests staying 7 nights or more, who will continue to have the COVID-19 antigen test offered at no cost.

 

COVID-19 antigen tests can be scheduled with the concierge at each resort upon arrival. Test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements.

 

Any booking prior to July 15 will honor the free COVID-19 antigen tests for guests staying a minimum of three nights. Additionally, following the announcement from the Costa Rica government on July 9, fully vaccinated travelers will not need to pay the mandatory insurance previously requested as of August 1, 2021.
