At Blue Diamond Resorts, sustainability and environmental conservation are fundamental actions and with the commitment to the Sustainability Objectives that emerge from the 2030 Agenda, through monthly beach cleaning in all resorts, Blue Diamond Resorts promotes the participation of their hosts and guests in this project of social service and environmental education.

Beaches play an important role in our life. In addition to offering several recreational opportunities, they also provide habitats for a variety of flora and fauna. They are protection for residents who live near the ocean, cushion the strong winds and waves created by storms, as well as encourage activity.

During the year 2021 - 2022, Blue Diamond Resorts has been committed to supporting the active ecosystems and extending the support to the local communities in which Blue Diamond Resorts operates. Always with passion, pride, and unwavering enthusiasm, Blue Diamond Resorts' hosts in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and the Eastern Caribbean, have organized 100 cleaning on the beaches around the properties involving 1,601 volunteers, managing to collect 2.6 tons of waste.

The final lesson for all participants in beach cleanups is the need to reduce Blue Diamond Resorts' consumption of plastic materials, especially single-use plastics, and reuse and properly dispose of the waste for recycling, with this Blue Diamond Resorts can improve the quality of life of sea animals, as well as coastal ecosystems, on which the food of a third of the world's population depends, as well as the viability of sun and beach destinations.
