Canada Jetlines
The implementation of the Travelport Distribution System is expected to be completed and ready for use in Q2 2023

Travelport and Canada Jetlines have executed a long-term agreement to bring New Distribution Capability (NDC) content and travel retailing technology solutions to the airline.

Travelport owns the Galileo, Worldspan and Apollo GDSs.

Joining the Travelport global marketplace will enable Canada Jetlines to enhance its geographic reach and target new leisure traveler segments, while providing travel agents with increased options to create optimal travel experiences for their clients, said Canada Jetlines Chief Commercial Officer, Duncan Bureau.

The implementation of the Travelport Distribution System is expected to be completed and ready for use in Q2 2023.

Canada Jetlines’ inventory is also available via Amadeus and Sabre.

Earlier this month Canada Jetlines announced it had purchased a third A320. The aircraft is expected to be delivered by July 2023. Also this month, the airline confirmed that it has paused its domestic routes while it refocuses on sun destinations and leasing additional planes. Halted routes include twice-weekly service between Toronto and Vancouver, as well as Toronto-Calgary. In-country flights are said to be resuming this fall. Canada Jetlines’ current routes are Toronto-Las Vegas and Toronto-Cancun.
