February 9 - Costa Rica is pleased to share that Arenal Volcano National Park was selected as one of the top national parks in the world, and the only selected national park in Central America, in TripAdvisor’s 2021 Traveller’s Choice “Best of the Best” Awards.

 

 

Arenal Volcano National Park received sixth place in a list of the top 25 national parks. Other winners included parks in the US, New Zealand, Chile, United Kingdom and Tanzania. The annual reader-selected awards highlight the most popular, trending and emerging destinations around the world. The awards are selected based on reviews and ratings from TripAdvisor travellers over a 12-month period. The 2021 awards reflect where people were traveling in early 2020 and dreaming of throughout the pandemic.
