Delta Air Lines
Delta celebrates 90 years of service in Montréal, helping international travelers discover the city's architectural and cultural gems while also providing the French-Canadian community with access to the world

As Delta Air Lines marks its 90th anniversary of service in Montréal, it is a moment to celebrate not just decades of aviation history but also the vibrant metropolis of Quebec – a city rich in culture, history and a spirit of exploration.

Montréal, the second-largest French-speaking city in the world, offers something for everyone. Visit Old Montreal to explore historic architecture, boutique shops and art galleries. Must-see attractions include Notre-Dame Basilica, St. Joseph's Oratory and Jean-Talon Market. Enjoy outdoor festivals in summer or stroll along the picturesque Canal Lachine.

In winter, go ice skating at Place Ville Marie or indulge in winter sports. Discover the flavors of Montréal, where gastronomy takes center stage, with options ranging from haute cuisine to street-side food trucks.

Delta continues to establish itself as a leading premium global airline, offering over 13 nonstop flights to Montréal from key U.S. destinations: Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York-LaGuardia and New York-JFK. In addition, customers in South America can also enjoy seamless one-stop connections to Montréal via JFK and ATL, making travel more convenient and accessible.

Delta celebrated the occasion at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) with a celebration for employees and local officials, surprising and delighting arriving and departing customers with local treats and commemorative gifts.

Delta has consistently listened to customers and put their travel experience at the epicenter of its operation by effectively connecting them to destinations they want to travel to most. In 2019, Delta flights to Montréal were primarily operated by regional jets. Today, there has been a significant shift through operating all mainline aircraft, resulting in over 30% increase in seats per departure versus 2019.

Servicing customers on the Airbus 319 aircraft, on key routes such as Montréal-Atlanta and Montréal-Minneapolis-St. Paul, with MSP serving as a seasonal destination, have furthered Delta’s mission to connecting customers to the world.

Delta's operation at YUL is more than just a convenient connection point; it is a gateway to the world, weaving Montréal into the rich tapestry of global culture and economy. With Delta, travelers can seamlessly access nearly 300 destinations worldwide, bridging the city to international business hubs, cultural hotspots and hidden gems.
