Fora Travel officially launched in Canada this past week with the bold mission to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and make travel and a career in travel more accessible. 

Founded in 2021 in New York City, Fora Travel already boasts over 7,000 active Travel Agents in 100 countries and offers a platform with 170,000+ bookable hotels.

During the launch event, Henley Vazquez, co-founder and CEO, said, “97% of Fora Travel agents are new to this industry; they’ve never done this before and decided to sign up with us and start a business.”

Fora Travel is designed to assist advisors in launching their own business and providing ongoing support as they expand.

During the launch, some new Fora Advisors shared their experience while using the platform: “It is a truly easy and rewarding agency for Advisors. The annual membership fee is $399. Agents get access to Fora’s Advisor Portal, training programs, content and marketing tools, commission payments, and an online forum. The agency also just obtained the TICO license.

Vazquez also shared that the company has just crossed 1 billion dollars in sales and 2 million in room nights. “The service we provide is very important. We help agents navigate the industry, build businesses, and make extra income. Fora Travel is a platform where people can become business owners.”

These are very impressive numbers considering how relatively new the company is.

In Canada, the agency has 200 advisors in 9 provinces and territories. 

Regarding the current tariff fears and how they will impact travel, Vazquez said, “I believe that people will continue to travel but will make different choices. People may change their spending habits, but Fora Travel will be there every step of the way and will help agents seek authentic experiences for their clients and continue to evolve and grow their businesses.”
