G Adventures is wishing Dr. Jane Goodall a happy 90th birthday by adding five new trips to its popular ‘Jane Goodall Collection.’

Endorsed by Dr. Goodall herself, the wildlife-focused collection aims to promote responsible wildlife tourism and support conservation efforts across the globe. With these new itineraries, travellers will embark on life-changing adventures in Tanzania, the Amazon, Galápagos Islands, Costa Rica and the United States, with highlights that include the chance to observe chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, where Dr. Goodall began her trailblazing research in 1960 at the age of 26.

Launched in 2016, the ‘Jane Goodall Collection’ new features 19 trips in total, with a portion of every adventure booked donated to help support wildlife protection and conservation.

• Tanzania: Chimp Trekking & Serengeti Safari: Part of the new Geluxe Collection, this 10-day premium active adventure from Arusha to Dar es Salaam includes a safari at Ngorongoro Crater, a hike up Mt Makarot, a wild chimpanzee trekking experience in Gombe Stream Naitonal Park, and a breakfast cooking experience in Mto wa Mbu village. • Amazon Riverboat Adventure In-Depth: Led by Amazon Reserve naturalist guides, this nine-day river cruise includes daily excursions by motorized skiff designed to highlight local wildlife such as sloths, toucans and pink dolphins. Travellers will also visit the Amazonian Manatee Rescue Centre to learn about the efforts to rescue orphaned manatees that have fallen victim to poaching. Priced from $4,199 per person. 
• Iconic Wildlife of Yellowstone & Grand Teton: While on this exploration through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park, guests will come face-to-face with an array of pristine landscapes and geological wonders, as well as abundant wildlife like grizzlies, moose, bald eagles and the elusive grey wolf. • Costa Rica: Tortuguero, La Fortuna & Rio Celeste: Part of the new Geluxe Collection, this eight-day, premium active trip starts in San Jose and includes kayaking in Tortuguero National Park where guests will spot wildlife like green and leatherback turtles. They’ll also rest easy in one-of-a-kind accommodations along the way. Priced from $4,499 per person.
• Galapagos Express Adventure: WIlderness and Wildlife: This seven-day ’18-to-Thirtysomethings’ trip will keep younger travellers active through snorkelling, hiking and exploring. Highlights include the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center to observe land iguanas and tortoises up close, and the Galapagos National Park Interpretation Centre to learn about the area’s history of ecosystems, flora and fauna.
