News / KLM ready to offer Premium Comfort cabin on Toronto-Amsterdam route
The new cabin is available on flight KL692 from Toronto to Amsterdam
KLM introduced its new intermediate cabin, the Premium Comfort Class, on its daily Toronto-Amsterdam route.
The new cabin is available on flight KL692 from Toronto to Amsterdam. The B787-10 is equipped with 318 seats: 38 in Word Business Class; 28 in the new Premium Comfort cabin; and 252 in Economy of which 39 are Economy Comfort seats offering more legroom and recline than a standard seat.
“We are delighted that Toronto has been chosen amidst the first destinations to offer the brand new KLM Premium Comfort class to our customers,” says Jean-Eudes de La Bretèche, General Manager for Air France KLM Canada. “Passengers will enjoy wider seats, more legroom, a larger screen and a distinctive catering concept.”
The new seats in Premium Comfort Class were designed by Collins Aerospace together with specialists at KLM Customer Experience. Apart from their modern design and comfort features, the seats are also lighter than previous designs. Catering materials for Premium Comfort are reusable (special cutlery, bowls and plates made of lightweight polypropylene) or made of recycled PEF.
In Canada, KLM flies to Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Montreal. It also provides connections between Montreal-Trudeau to/from Ottawa and Québec City daily onboard KLM (or Air France) buses equipped with WiFi.
