Sunwing Vacations and WestJet Vacations Québec have announced a new exclusive sun destination for the upcoming winter season: Managua, Nicaragua.
Weekly nonstop service from Montreal (YUL) to Managua (MGA) will begin Dec. 18, 2025, with flights operated by WestJet every Thursday through to April 9, 2026.
The new route offers Quebecers a direct escape to a lesser-known Central American destination, with vacation packages available through both Sunwing Vacations and WestJet Vacations Québec. Travellers can expect a consistent vacation experience across both brands, paired with WestJet’s modern fleet and onboard hospitality.
Clients can book Barceló Montelimar for the winter season through Sunwing Vacations and WestJet Vacations Québec. Nestled on lush grounds with direct beach access, the all-inclusive property offers 293 accommodations, including both standard rooms and multi-bedroom bungalows, making it a good fit for families and groups. Amenities include Wi-Fi, mini-bars and in-room safes. Dining options span a buffet restaurant near the beach and three à la carte venues serving Italian, Asian, and seafood cuisine. Five bars are located throughout the property. Guests can also enjoy three pools – including one with a children’s area – a jacuzzi, a kids’ club, sports courts, mini-golf, a massage centre, boutique shops and daily entertainment. A shuttle service also helps guests move easily around the expansive resort.
