ACTA need everyone to ACT NOW!
May 26 - The financial situation for Canadian travel agencies, travel agents and independent travel agents continues to worsen. ACTA is at a “make or break” point with federal government financial aid programs significantly declining month-over-month beginning in July. Without financial aid at maximum levels to the end of the year, 75% of travel agent businesses will not survive.
We must do all we can to prevent this collapse. In response, ACTA has launched and they need everyone to ACT NOW.
ACTA needs you to:
• Send a Letter to your MP using ACTA’s online portal below. You can customize the letter to add your own personal experiences, but most important is to follow up • Call your MP. Again, as a constituent, you need to tell YOUR story • Urge your MP to speak to those at the Ministry of Finance that make the financial decisions. Tell your MP, that that the Ministry of Finance must ensure our survival with targeted supports, so that when Canadians can travel freely again, there is a travel industry to serve them and deliver quality experiences that will fulfil their business and leisure travel desires
Email templates, explaining your concerns and to help guide your telephone or virtual meetings, are tailored for travel agency owners, travel agency employees and independent travel agents. By completing the appropriate form below and submitting, the email letter will be sent to your local Member of Parliament.
