A gateway to Gros Morne National Park in Western Newfoundland, Deer Lake provides access to some of Canada’s most iconic attractions. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a landscape formed by glaciers and seismic activity millions of years ago. Contrasting lush fjords and barren red earth represent the best of natural extremes. Whether it’s climbing to the highest mountain peak in Newfoundland, or driving the scenic Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia, Deer Lake and Halifax are ideal destinations for summer travel.
