Bahamas Ministry of Tourism
“It’s not one island, it’s a lifetime of them”

The Bahamas' new "It's not one island, it's a lifetime of them" campaign made its Toronto debut on June 24, spotlighting the destination’s rich culture, one-of-a-kind experiences, and growing relationship with the Canadian market.

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism revealed a series of captivating videos to show “why it is so much better in the Bahamas”:

The Bahamas' impressive scale—700 islands and cays scattered across 100,000 square miles—means it's impossible to experience everything in one trip. The Bahamas encourages Canadian travellers to make it a lifelong destination, with each return visit offering new, unique discoveries and diverse experiences.

Currently, 16 islands are being actively promoted, each delivering its own distinctive and authentic experiences.

Global Agents experienced a full cultural immersion during the event, exploring new product developments alongside authentic Bahamian traditions—from local culinary specialties to refreshing cocktails and a spirited Junkanoo rush-out.

Canada and the Bahamas have maintained a strong relationship since 1969, and it continues to strengthen every year. Air Canada's partnership with The Bahamas spans over 70 years, consistently connecting Canadians to these stunning islands. These strong relationships manifested in high visitation numbers. In 2024, the Bahamas exceeded its 2023 visitation numbers, and this growth trend continues into 2025.

The Bahamas remains easily reachable for Canadians, with nonstop and direct flights offered through various major Canadian gateways.

With 700 islands and cays waiting to be discovered, your Bahamian adventure is just a click away.. Begin planning your journey through this extraordinary archipelago today at bahamas.com.
