News / Swoop celebrates sixth new 737 MAX 8 aircraft in 2022
Swoop has added six of these aircraft to its existing fleet of 10 Boeing 737-800 NGs
Swoop’s sixth new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft has officially entered into service with WO flight 360 departing from Toronto to Halifax.
In just under 10 months, the ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) has added six of these aircraft to its existing fleet of 10 Boeing 737-800 NGs, bringing its total fleet size to 16 aircraft. Its rapid fleet expansion complements the carrier’s considerable growth in 2022, during which it added 12 new destinations to its network, with more coming in 2023.
