News / TTC's guided tour brands extend vaccination policy for guests to be fully vaccinated until end of 2022
Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations, Costsaver, Brendan Vacations and Luxury Gold Covid-19 vaccination requirement will remain in effect until December 31, 2022. Travel or Wellbeing Directors will conduct temperature checks throughout the tour
The Travel Corporations’ (TTC) guided tour brands, Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations, Costsaver, Brendan Vacations and Luxury Gold, announced an extension of the Covid-19 vaccination requirement for all adult guests. The new policy came into effect on September 1, 2021 and will remain until at least December 31, 2022. The policy requires clients to show documented proof of having received two doses of approved Covid-19 vaccines from either Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca or one dose from Johnson & Johnson. The final dose of the vaccine must have been administered a minimum of 15 days prior to their departure.
Clients booked with the brands will need to provide proof of an approved Covid-19 vaccination to their Wellbeing Director, Travel Director, Trip Manager or Travelling Concierge prior to joining the tour and upon arrival to their destination. They will additionally need to comply with specific PCR testing requirements imposed by airlines and/or the destinations, which may differ from country to country. As part of TTC brands’ enhanced arrival protocols, Travel or Wellbeing Directors will complete temperature checks and guests will be required to complete a health questionnaire. Anyone with signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or missing/incomplete testing or vaccination documents will be referred for additional testing before being allowed to join the group. Travel and Wellbeing Directors, along with restaurants and other vendors, may also conduct additional screenings throughout the trip whenever the need arises.
TTC guided tours will be operated in accordance with a rigorous set of enhanced hygiene, physical distancing and robust on-road protocols, adapting to and complying with all requirements by relevant government authorities.
