Reopening of Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay
May 25 - Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay will welcome guests beginning June 5.
This carefully managed reopening comes with stringent new health, safety and hygiene procedures in place. So, as we enjoy our parks together again, everyone will need to follow CDC guidelines and the recommendations of health officials, and Universal Orlando’s policies.
Note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit.
Important Information For Your Visit
In accordance with CDC guidelines, Universal Orlando has enhanced sanitation procedures and implemented additional measures for distance spacing and screening.Therefore they ask that all guests and Team Members comply with following:
1. Face covering required
Everyone is required to wear a face covering during their visit.
2. Temperature check required
Temperature checks will be required upon arrival, and guests with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be admitted.
3. Wash hands often
Wash your hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds.
4. Social distancing
Practice social distancing and keep at least 6 feet (2 meters) between your travel party and others.
5. Floor markings
When present, please stand on the floor markings until the group in front of you moves forward.
6. Avoid contact with people who are sick
7. Use hand sanitizer when required
At select locations including prior to boarding ride vehicles, guests will be required to use hand sanitizer.
8. Follow Team Member direction
Please follow directions from Universal Orlando team members and have patience as they work through these new operational procedures.
Please note the CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19, and Universal Orlando cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit.
