The Mexico Tourism Board and Disney have teamed up to share the routes that inspired the Disney & Pixar collaborative movie Coco. This includes four magical routes through Aguascalientes, Oaxaca, Guanajuato and Michoacán, showcasing some of the main attractions, structures and places that inspired the biggest movie in the history of Mexico.

 

 

Coco fans can explore everything from Paracho, the town that produced the famous guitar, to Monte Alban, the surreal archeological site and inspiration for the world of the dead. The routes focus on telling the story of the Day of the Dead in Mexico, highlighting the incredible real-life places that inspired Coco.
