Air Transat is further reassuring travellers that it has secured sufficient fuel to operate its full summer schedule

Air Transat is introducing enhanced flexibility on select fare categories for the summer travel season while also reassuring customers that its summer flight program will operate as planned despite ongoing concerns surrounding fuel supply.

Travellers booking Eco Standard or Club Standard fares between June 5 and Sept. 1, 2026, will benefit from no change fees as well as the option to cancel without penalty in exchange for a travel credit, valid for 12 months from the originally scheduled return date. The offer applies to travel between June 5 and Sept. 8, 2026.

Air Transat also noted that its Eco Flex and Club Flex fare options continue to offer expanded flexibility, including the ability to cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure. Travellers booking vacation packages can also purchase Option Flex, which starts at $99 and allows for additional trip modifications.

Fuel Secured for Summer

Alongside the fare announcement, Air Transat is further reassuring travellers that it has secured sufficient fuel to operate its full summer schedule.

After confirming  that it had secured the fuel needed to support its summer operations, the airline said it continues to work closely with partners and suppliers and has established a robust supply chain to ensure fuel availability across its network.

According to Air Transat, flights are currently operating as scheduled and the company continues to monitor the situation while maintaining close coordination with its partners.

The airline added that the planning measures already in place are intended to support operational stability and minimize potential disruptions throughout the summer season.
