News / Air Transat launches direct Quebec City flights to Marseille and Nantes
Both routes will operate once weekly during the summer season and are exclusive to Air Transat from the Quebec City market

Air Transat is expanding its transatlantic network from Quebec City with the launch of new direct services to Marseille and Nantes, further strengthening air connectivity between Quebec and France.
The airline officially inaugurated its Quebec City (YQB)–Marseille (MRS) route on May 21, while service to Nantes (NTE) is scheduled to begin on June 2. Both routes will operate once weekly during the summer season and are exclusive to Air Transat from the Quebec City market.
The Quebec City–Marseille service will operate every Thursday through Oct. 9, 2026, providing travellers with direct access to Provence and the French Riviera. The Quebec City–Nantes route will operate every Tuesday through Oct. 20, 2026, opening access to western France, including the Loire Valley and the Atlantic coast.
Air Transat also confirmed that the Nantes service will return during the holiday season, operating from Dec. 23, 2026, to Jan. 13, 2027, to meet seasonal demand.
The flights are operated using the Airbus A321LR, which allows Air Transat to offer non-stop transatlantic service from Quebec City using a narrowbody aircraft designed for long-haul routes. The aircraft features individual entertainment screens with French-language programming, complimentary meals and a 12-seat Club Class cabin.
